My approach to coaching is grounded in a belief that all leaders are driven by the desire to have a meaningful impact with the work they do, and in the organizations and communities that they work with.
My clients are leaders who want to expand their capacity to drive impact, while growing the people they lead. Effective leadership, at its core, requires an ability to cultivate relationships that generate trust & commitment, collaboration, alignment, and innovation in service of their organization’s mission. Self-knowledge and emotional intelligence allows leaders to cope effectively with the stresses that get in the way of building these relationships.
Coaching provides a space to explore the self (one’s driving values, aspirations, fears, interpersonal risks/threats, etc.) and to develop the emotional intelligence that allows leaders to respond to stressors from a creative, rather than reactive stance. My clients are able to lead more effectively from a place of authenticity, empathy and strong internal authority.
